Reflections - Basecamp Launch
We partnered with Reflections Holidays to launch a brand new accommodation vertical on We Are Explorers called Basecamp.
All great adventures hinge on a great place to stay, but finding the perfect digs is easier said than done. Enter Basecamp.
We teamed up with social-enterprise Reflections Holidays to build a fresh vertical on We Are Explorers. Basecamp curates our favourite stays around the country; places that allow ultra-quick access to unwinding, connecting, and exploring in nature.
Our challenge was to seamlessly integrate the accommodation listings with 1000s of curated adventures we’ve built up over 10 years as a digital publisher. How can we make it easy for our audience to find suitable places to stay in the wild that become basecamps for adventurous lives?
Alongside several supporting launch partners including Unyoked and NSW National Parks, we created 10 unique Reflections Listings that featured key info, price, imagery, local adventures, and tracked conversion links.
Whats more – and this is the magic part – we created a Basecamp widget that automatically features within location specific articles to create a highly contextual placement that drives primed traffic to the listing.
