Kaon
We supercharged the launch of a new brand platform 'For The Outsiders' through stunning content and media activity.
With cinematic and inspirational storytelling at its beating heart, we identified talent who embraced outdoor lifestyles and represented the outlier spirit of the brand.
Our team then strategised and executed a shoot that encapsulated the elements of escape, connection, and heart so intrinsic to Kaon’s new positioning in the market. This was then complimented by a script from our in-house editorial team, leveraging our expertise in outdoor-centric copywriting.
Then came the engagement-first media push through We Are Explorers, targeting individuals relatively new to the 4WD lifestyle. The campaign was enormously successful based on both reach (nearly half a million Aussie adventurers experienced the campaign) and consideration – over 2,000 link clicks were driven to Kaon’s website.
“There are few projects in life and business where the stars align, and you find yourself amongst people who just get it. From the very beginning, the team at We Are Explorers understood what KAON stood for. Their tireless work translated our brand positioning into something tangible and meaningful. The results speak for themselves, after just a few short months, early indicators point to our brand campaign directly and positively impacting nearly every one of our key conversion metrics.
But I'm reminded that someone clever once said that numbers can't tell the whole story. While we're excited by this campaign's results, it's the stories that stay with us. Tales of people who were touched by our campaign, those who decided to 'take that trip', or who felt excluded from the off-road scene, but accepted by us. The stories of people who were inspired to change their priorities, to get outside – to live.
That's real impact, the power of living our mission. I'm sure the effects of communicating what we stand for have just begun, and I'm so glad the team at We Are Explorers is a part of it.”
You can find them on the open road.
Down forgotten tracks, amongst wind swept dunes, or feet up by the fire reliving the day that was.
Who are they?
They’re the outsiders.
To hear the birds at dawn, and ride every perfect break.
To feel the sting of just too much sun, or the waft of dinner from the camp oven.
The satisfaction of a river well-crossed, and of cutting the engine at camp in a place that few get to visit.
Outsiders are all-in on their dreams.
They’re on the road at 5pm, making the most of their weekend.
Their phone number is a radio channel.
Their kitchen is in the back.
Because if you’re going to chase this life, home has got to come along for the ride.
